Data controller

Park Atlas is run by Bumba Teknoloji Limited Şirketi, Ataşehir / İstanbul, Türkiye (part of Bumba Group). Contact and data protection requests: bilgi@bumbagroup.com.

In short

• There are no accounts and no forms that send your data to this site's server.
• We count visits with Umami, which uses no cookies and does not identify you.
• Your location is used only on your device, and only after you tap "Use my location".
• If you join the e-mail list, your address goes to Bumba Group's shared list service, under its own notice.

Visit statistics (Umami)

We use Umami on our own server (istatistik.bumba.tr) to count page views and a few anonymous actions: theme and language changes, searches (the type of result chosen, or a short query that found nothing) and joining the e-mail list (never the address). Umami sets no cookies and stores no data that identifies a person; we only see totals. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in running and improving the guide (KVKK Art. 5/2-f).

Location ("Near me")

When you tap "Use my location", your browser asks for permission. The position is used only in your browser to sort parks by distance; it is not sent to us or to anyone else and is not stored.

E-mail list

The sign-up form sends your e-mail address, your language and your consent to Bumba Group's shared list service at bumbagroup.com, which sends a confirmation e-mail (double opt-in) and lets you leave with one click. The service is described in its own notice: e-mail list privacy notice. This site does not keep your address.

Cookies and browser storage

This site sets no cookies. It keeps three small, functional values in your browser's local storage: your theme choice, your language choice and the parks you picked to compare. For offline use the service worker stores copies of pages and data files in the browser cache. You can remove all of this by clearing the site data in your browser. Because there are no non-essential cookies, there is no cookie banner.

Content loaded from other services

Some content comes directly from other servers, which then see the usual request details (such as your IP address and browser): map tiles from OpenFreeMap, photos from Wikimedia Commons, the Bumba Group badge from bumbagroup.com and the statistics script from istatistik.bumba.tr. The site itself is hosted on a server in Türkiye.

Your rights

Under Article 11 of the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK) you can ask whether data about you is processed, request information, correction or deletion, and object to processing. Write to bilgi@bumbagroup.com. Requests about the e-mail list can also be made through the link in every list e-mail.
